I want to encourage everyone to spread the word and attend the Gun Safety Forum St. Nicholas is hosting on Saturday, June 23rd, starting at 10:00 a.m. The Forum is sponsored by the non-partisan League of Women Voters of Broward County.

Panelists will include Congressman Ted Deutch, State Senator Gary Farmer, State Representative Shevrin Jones, Brooke Latta, from the BSO Office of General Counsel, and Gail Schwartz, aunt of a Parkland shooting victim.

Regardless of your position on gun control, I encourage attendance so we can listen, learn, and engage in civil dialogue - something our nation very much needs at this time in history.

The Rev. Mark Andrew Jones, BSG

Rector, St. Nicholas Episcopal Church

Ministry Needs

The Holy Grill of St. Nicholas Mobile Feeding Ministry.

We raise money by serving as a food vendor at local festivals. We will make our third appearance at the Florida Keys Celtic Fest, January 12-13, 2019. Mark your calendars now and plan to go with us - to enjoy the festival and/or to volunteer in the Holy Grill. Either way, it's a great time! You might follow the lead of Bob Reid and Fr. Mark Andrew, buying kilts to boast "Best Knees in the Keys"!

Please help by being a volunteer in our innovative and exciting mobile ministry feeding the homeless. A typical crew consists of three to four people.  It's easier than you might think to make a difference. Please contact Fr. Mark Andrew or Jr. Warden/Sexton Bob Reid to volunteer.
