We are blessed to be engaged in several meaningful ministries. The Thrift Shop offers clothing and household items for modest prices (most at $2.00 or less), thus preserving and respecting the personal dignity associated with commercial exchange for the working poor.

Bingo is a stimulative and entertaining benefit for the elderly, which also offers fellowship, social interaction, and a sense of community.

Then we have our various ministries helping the homeless and working poor. Chief among these is our signature ministry – the Holy Grill mobile feeding ministry. The Holy Grill is a St. Nicholas ministry, but it also has rapidly acquired the character of a regional ministry with representatives of several churches and other organizations helping. This ministry has raised over $150,000 and served over 18,000 hot, spirit-lifting meals since starting in September of 2016.

In addition to direct clothing assistance from our Thrift Shop, St. Nicholas helps the homeless and working poor through our support of St. Laurence Chapel. Weekly parishioners deliver hard boiled eggs (an easily transportable source of protein). On the 1^st Sunday of every month, we celebrate Underwear Sunday by collecting donations of new men's and women's underwear and socks to be distributed through St. Laurence. On the 4^th Sunday of every month, Fr. Mark Andrew celebrates the Eucharist and distributes Holy Communion followed by a hot meal served by parishioners.
