Welcome to St. Nicholas Episcopal  Church

Blessing of the Animals - Sunday, October 2nd, at both the 8:00 & 10:30 a.m. celebrations of the Eucharist.

Join us on Sunday, October 2nd (Noon - 1:30 p.m.) for a discussion about the isolating despair of anxiety, depression, and mental illness countered by Hope with guest speakers Anthony Acampora and Gretchen Rovira.

Anthony Acampora is Christian Program Director & Chaplain at Banyan Treatment Center in Pompano Beach, Florida. He has led spiritual encouragement groups and Bible studies with more than 3,800 patients in hospital psychiatric units, recovery centers, and prisons. He is the Director of the National Alliance of Mental Illness FaithNet program. In 2014, the National Association of Social Workers named Anthony its Public Citizen of the Year.  In 2015 the Broward National Alliance of Mental Illness awarded him with the annual volunteer recognition award.   Anthony Acampora knows firsthand the power of Spirit-fueled compassion and the incredible impact the Word of God can have on a broken life. Through Christ he has overcome tremendous suffering and loss.

Gretchen Rovira is a Family Outreach Coordinator with the South Florida Wellness Network.  With a Master's Degree in Substance Abuse, she is a Certified Addiction Professional.
