Today is
Tartan Day
... looking ahead to November, the tradition of The Kirkin' o' the Tartan is a celebratory service in Episcopal and other churches, often near St. Andrew’s Day (Nov 30), blessing family tartan clothes to honor Scottish heritage. While rooted in a legend about forbidden tartans after the 1746 Battle of Culloden, the modern tradition was popularized in the 1940s.

Announcing a Change in Online Giving
The next time you visit our website, StNicholasFL.org, check out the new format for submitting online donations. Under "Giving" at the navigation menu, click "Donate" to see the new software. You will need to create a login the first time you make a donation. St. Nicholas is now using ChurchTrac.com to manage our member data and will utilize several other organizational tools offered with this software. You can also reach the Giving > Donation page directly at:

If you have been making automatic donations with FaithStreet on a weekly or monthly basis, you will need to set that up with ChurchTrac. And be sure to login to FaithStreet to discontinue your online giving with that platform. Every new practice comes with a learning curve and it will take a little time to become accustomed to this new format. However, all will be well because
