St. Elizabeth of Hungary is the patron saint of bakers, beggars, brides, charities, the homeless, hospitals, nurses, Sisters of Mercy, and widows, among others. She is known for her immense charity and dedication to the poor and sick. St. Elizabeth sounds like our kind of gal.
