April is
Global Volunteer Month
Global Volunteer Month, observed every April, is a dedicated time to honor volunteers and encourage community service. Established nationally in 1990, President George H.W. Bush proclaiming April as National Volunteer Month to support his "1000 Points of Light" campaign, highlighting the impact of volunteers and encourage service.
It has been noted that most of the St. Nicholas congregation is made up of Volunteers who serve our many ministries including the Holy Grill, Holy Provisions, Bingo, Concert Series, Back-to-School Book Bags and Blessing Bags. How fitting that St. Nicholas' Congregation Appreciation Celebration was enjoyed this month.

Announcing a Change in Online Giving
The next time you visit our website, StNicholasFL.org, check out the new format for submitting online donations. Under "Giving" at the navigation menu, click "Donate" to see the new software. You will need to create a login the first time you make a donation. St. Nicholas is now using ChurchTrac.com to manage our member data and will utilize several other organizational tools offered with this software. You can also reach the Giving > Donation page directly at:

If you have been making automatic donations with FaithStreet on a weekly or monthly basis, you will need to set that up with ChurchTrac. And be sure to login to FaithStreet to discontinue your online giving with that platform. Every new practice comes with a learning curve and it will take a little time to become accustomed to this new format. However, all will be well because
