And another new week begins!

This is National Library Week
and if you can ready this, thank a Librarian!

April 20, 2026
And today is
National Right to Read Day

It's worth noting that The Episcopal Church is actively involved in protecting the right to information through advocacy against censorship, the promotion of digital literacy, and the safeguarding of data privacy, particularly for marginalized communities and in church operations. One key initiative includes Combating Book Bans and Censorship. In 2024, the church adopted Resolution D039, which condemns the surge in actions to restrict access to information in public schools and libraries. The church advocates for the protection of diverse books and information resources, particularly those related to LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC individuals, viewing such restrictions as a threat to truth-telling and community.

Announcing a Change in Online Giving

The next time you visit our website, StNicholasFL.org, check out the new format for submitting online donations.  Under "Giving" at the navigation menu, click "Donate" to see the new software.  You will need to create a login the first time you make a donation.  St. Nicholas is now using ChurchTrac.com to manage our member data and will utilize several other organizational tools offered with this software.  You can also reach the Giving > Donation page directly at:

StNicholasEpiscopal.churchtrac.com/give

or by scanning this QRCode:

If you have been making automatic donations with FaithStreet on a weekly or monthly basis, you will need to set that up with ChurchTrac.  And be sure to login to FaithStreet to discontinue your online giving with that platform.  Every new practice comes with a learning curve and it will take a little time to become accustomed to this new format.  However, all will be well because

When we Episco-pull together,
we Angli-can do anything!
